MRC solider qualifies for London Olympics
Irfan, who became the third Indian walker to qualify for the Olympics, timed 1.22:09 to finish 19th in the World Race Walking cup at Sarasnk, Russia last Saturday, a MRC release said today.
The 'A' Standard in the 20km walk event for the Olympics is 1.22:30.
Irfan hails from Eranadu in Malappuram in Kerala.
