The three-day selection trails, to commence tomorrow at the Cooperage football ground, would be conducted by the club's chief coach Santosh Kashyap. This is the first such exercise by the city outfit.
Speaking about the initiative, Kashyap said, "We are proud to represent the yellow brigade of Mumbai and hope to take Mumbai to the pinnacle of Indian football. This is a first time that an equal opportunity will be available to all talent to exhibit their skills and earn a shot at playing for our historic city in the I-League."
Players seeking selection should be at least 20 years old and have played at least one season in an elite division team, the club stated.
