Murder case accused hacked to death on way to court

A murder case accused was today hacked to death by two motorcycle-borne men while he was being taken to a local court by police for a hearing.
Prakasan (39) was being taken from the sub-jail here to the court when the two unidentified persons attacked him, police said.
He was rushed to the Thrissur Medical College hospital where he died of injuries sustained in the attack, police said.
The victim was arrested and remanded in custody for allegedly murdering one Sivanandan near here in March last.
