Traders said besides easing demand from retailers at current levels against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts mainly pulled down pulses prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety eased to Rs 7,900 and Rs 11,300-13,300 against last close of Rs 8,600 and Rs 11,900-13,900 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local dropped by Rs 500 each to Rs 8,800-11,550 and Rs 9,800-10,000 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold declined by Rs 500 each to Rs 4,450-5,050 and Rs 4,500-5,100 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,450-5,950 and Rs 5,550-6,050 per quintal, respectively. Malka local and best quality weakened by Rs 500 each to Rs 5,850-6,350 and Rs 5,950-6,350 per quintal.
Moth lost Rs 500 at Rs 5,400-5,800 per quintal.
Gram eased to Rs 4,400-4,800 against last close of Rs 4,800-5,200 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality were down by Rs 500 each to Rs 4,500-4,800 and Rs 4,700-5,000 per quintal, respectively. Besign Shaktibhog and Rajdhani were quoted lower at Rs 2,100 instead of Rs 2,200 per 35 kg bag, respectively.
