Muzaffarnagar: 2,751 cases resolved by Lok Adalat in a day

As many as 2,751 cases were resolved and fines amounting to a total of Rs 7,12,230 were collected today by a Lok Adalat held in Muzaffarnagar.

The secretary of the legal services authorities and civil judge Madhu Gupta said that during the Lok Adalat, the family court resolved 91 cases of family dispute in which 14 couples were reunited.

They have decided to live as life partners on the persuasion of the court, she said.
