NABARD officials, who held a meeting with the state government officials over the scheme that aims to provide piped drinking water to all households in the state, said a loan of Rs 2,200 crore will be sanctioned for 2016-17.
An amount of Rs 1,976.8 crore was also promised earlier and the NABARD officials said they will release the second instalment of the amount soon, the official release said.
