Naga dy speaker sworn in as parl sec

Nagaland Deputy Speaker Imtikumzuk was today sworn in as a parliamentary secretary by Chief Minister Shurhozelie Liezietsu today.
Imtikumzuk will be the parliamentary secretary for information and public relations department of the Nagaland government from today.
He was elected on Congress ticket from Aonglenden constituency in the 2013 general election.
He became the deputy speaker after eight Congress MLAs supported the then Chief Minister T R Zeliang during the vote of confidence in the assembly in February 2015. The eight MLAs subsequrntly merged with the ruling Naga People Front in November the same year.
