India has to remain united to defeat divisive forces, Nagaland Governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya said today.
There were over hundred insurgent groups active in the Northeast and we have to remain vigilant, Acharya said in his speech after inaugurating the 13th Annual Day of a private school here in Nadia district.
Talking about education, the Governor underscored the need to grasp the true essence of education to enable a student become a real human being.
"The utilization of local resources should be included as part of curriculum," he said.
Acharya also talked about regional languages getting lesser importance.
