Narendra Modi speaking in Hitler tone: Tariq Anwar

Decrying Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on 2002 riot and his 'puppy' comments, Union minister and NCP leader Tariq Anwar today said he is speaking in 'Hitler's tone'.
"He (Modi) has not yet become the prime minister but is speaking in the tones of fascist leader Adolf Hitler," Anwar, Union Minister of State for Agriculture, told reporters here.
Modi's assertions makes it clear that he believes in the fascist ideology and speaks in the tone of Hitler, he said.
" The way he is justifying his role in 2002 smacks of his arrogance...The Indian tradition is that if you commit a mistake you feel sorry for it, but he has no repentance," the NCP general secretary said.

Modi's assertions that he is a Hindu seems to be an attempt to arouse communal feeling among the majority community. But he would not succeed in his design of dividing the country as this is the nation of Mahatama Gandhi who propagated communal harmony and love and respect for all religions, he said.
Describing Ishrat Jahan as an 'innocent', Anwar said the emerging facts suggest that she had no connection with any terror group.
Asked to compare Gujarat riot and that one that had taken place in Bhagalpur in 1989, the NCP leader said the former was 'state sponsored', while the second was a result of administrative failure.
