Nashik records coldest day of season at 6.1 degree Celsius

Nashik and other parts of the district are reeling under severe cold as temperatures dipped to a low of 6.1 degree Celsius yesterday making it the coldest day of the season, meteorological officials said today.
According to officials of local weather observatory, Monday recorded the lowest temperature of the season, which was last year recorded at 6.3 degree Celsius on December 15.
Weathermen said that mercury is likely to hover in the range of 6 to 7 degree Celsius in next few days.
Meanwhile, to cope with the intense cold, denizens were seen making camp-fire and are using room-heaters.
