According to Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), the year's second monthly National Lok Adalat was organized in all the district courts here in which a total 54 benches were constituted and 1910 cases were disposed.
It said the cases which were at pre-litigative and pending stage in district courts here were disposed of and the settlement amount of Rs 5.73 crore was disbursed.
The authority said the Lok Adalats were also organized in all the three Debt Recovery Tribunals in which 10 cases were disposed and settlement amount was approximately Rs 1.18 crore was given.
"Total 2023 cases were settled today in which settlement amount was approximately Rs 7.73 crore and there would be no further appeals," the DSLSA said in its release.
