Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today blamed the national parties for the prevailing "uncertainties" in all spheres of life in the country.
"Today, uncertain atmosphere prevails in all spheres of life in the country," Patnaik said while addressing a function marking the culmination of the ruling Biju Janata Dal's 12-day Padayatra programme.
The rally, which began on October 2, ended here today on the occasion of Jay Prakash Narayan's birth anniversary.
Though Patnaik did not name any political party for the prevailing situation, his indications were towards the BJP that led the government at the Centre.
"The policies of the national parties are responsible for the uncertain climate in the country. This is not good for the nation," Patnaik said giving a call to follow ideology of Jay Prakash Narayan in order to avoid uncertain situation in the country.
Patnaik's attack on the national parties targeting the BJP is similar to his October 2 remarks when he inaugurated the Padayatra programme. On the day, he had accused the national parties of neglecting Odisha.
The BJD president also accused the national parties of destroying the federal structure of the country and working for their own interest.
"These parties are also trying to mislead people by projecting fake picture of development. People of Odisha have never accepted them and I am sure they would never accept them in future as well," he had said.
