"The chopper made an emergency landing at the airport. A Jet Airways flight that was on the runway could not take off while we had to divert a GoAir flight. Other flights scheduled to take off from here could not do so," a senior official at the Chandigarh Airport told PTI.
Jindal, who was coming from Kurukshetra in his chopper, tweeted that the helicopter developed a "technical snag" and that he was safe after the incident.
"Had a technical snag in the helicopter and pilots made a good landing at the Chandigarh airport. All is well," he tweeted.
He also wrote that "I wanted to avoid writing about this helicopter incident as all is fine, but media found out anyways. So must clarify that all is well".
