NC-led govt failed to conduct urban bodies poll: PDP

PDP today said that residents of Jammu city faced hardship as Omar Abdullah led government has failed to conduct Urban Local Bodies polls in the state.
PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, Yash Pal Sharma asked people in Jammu West Assembly segment to vote the opposition party to power in the next assembly elections.
He said that local bodies elections were due in February 2010 but coalition regime has delayed the process causing hardship to people of urban areas.
