NC sets up board to monitor party elections in Jammu

National Conference (NC) today set up a 35-member Election Board to monitor organisational elections in Jammu province.
Party provincial president Devender Singh Rana constituted the board to monitor the party's election in Jammu region, a NC spokesman said today, adding that the decision was taken in the wake of next year's Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections.
With Rana as the Board's chairman, members of the panel include six MLAs and six MLCs besides former MPs, legislators and Deputy Speakers, he said.
