NE woman alleges molestation in south-east Delhi

A 25-year-old woman from the Northeast was allegedly molested by a drunken man in south-east Delhi's Sunlight colony here last night, police said.
According to police, the incident took place last night at around 9 P.M., when the woman and her friend were on their way home.
The woman has said in her complaint that the accused had latched on to her and touched her inappropriately.
The man, who was said to have been in an inebriated state, got into an argument with the two women which soon turned into a scuffle, prompting somw neighbours to call the police.
The accused has been arrested by police and a case of molestation registered at Sunlight police station.

The accused has claimed that he was accompanied by his wife and had accidentally fallen on the woman. He said that he had held on to her to keep himself from falling.
