About 3,000 lawyers here today boycotted court proceedings in protest against the gunning down of 20 labourers from Tamil Nadu by Andhra Pradesh police.
The lawyers, led by Coimbatore Bar Association President Nandakumar, assembled in front of District Court Complex and staged a demonstration, police said.
Raising slogans against Andhra Pradesh government, they demanded a proper and detailed inquiry into the April 7 incident.
