Afghan MPs began in Parliament Library Building here today. Rashid Alvi, Honorary Advisor, Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training of the Lok Sabha Secretariat inaugurated the programme. The programme is being attended by 96 parliamentarians, including 24 women MPs, of the Upper House of Parliament of Afghanistan, a Lok Sabha Secretariat release said. Eminent parliamentarians and experts will address the Afghan MPs on various issues including the practice and procedure of Parliament of India, it added.
