New vice Chairman for J-K Khadi and Village Industries Board

Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed former PDP legislator Peerzada Mansoor Hussain as the vice chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Board.
He was the political advisor to Mehbooba Mufti before she became the Chief Minister. The order was issued by the General Administration Department yesterday.
Hussain, an MLA from Shangus assembly segment from 2008 to 2014, lost the 2014 Assembly election.
In another order issued by the General Administration Department, Independent MLA from Zanskar Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi, vice chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board, was accorded minister of state rank.
Rizvi was appointed the vice chairman of the board on June 30.
