While concluding its argument on framing of charges, the NIA submitted before District Judge Amar Nath in an in-chamber proceeding that the accused persons should be put on trial in the case.
According to the sources, the court closed the prosecution evidence against the accused persons -- including Bhatkal and his close aide Asadullah Akhtar, Mohammad Danish Ansari, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Imran Khan, Syed Maqbool, Obaid-Ur- Rehman and others -- after the investigating agency completed its detailed arguments on the framing of charge.
