The industrial metal was little changed at the LME, hurt by evidence of economic cooling in top consumer China but buttressed by signs of a growth revival in the US.
Nickel climbed by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 995 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 990.
Zinc and copper scrap heavy inched-up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 174 and Rs 506.
However, tin and brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 1,535 and Rs 360 as against Rs 1,537 and Rs 362, respectively.
