Nikon bags mandate to supply cameras, lenses to PTI

Japanese imaging products major Nikon today consolidated its presence in the Indian media space by bagging the mandate to provide its professional cameras and lenses to the Press Trust of India.
Under a partnership, the company's wholly-owned arm Nikon India is providing its latest products, including high speed performance cameras such as D4S, and a variety of lenses ranging from ultra wide to telephoto lenses.
Nikon India Managing Director Hiroshi Takashina said: "We are glad to be associated with PTI. Understanding the challenging and demanding environment that media operates in, our endeavour is to provide new technology and brilliant products."

The imaging excellence Nikon offers is gaining recognition by the extremely knowledgeable media fraternity, enabling us to gain a strong foothold within the media photographers, he added.
Nikon India sells a range of products in India, including D-SLR, compact cameras, lenses and accessories.
