"The government under Prime Minister Modi is working in the interest of the common man by implementing welfare schemes, but that is not visible to SP, BSP and Congress," the Minister of State for Food Processing Industries said during a meeting of the Vegetable and Fruit Merchants' Association here.
Hitting out at the rival parties, she said that the method of opposition has also changed and sessions of the Parliament are getting disrupted, leading to welfare schemes being affected.
Noting that seven members of the backward Sonkar community have been elected as BJP MPs, Jyoti alleged the opposition parties used the Dalit community only as a vote bank.
