The forum was constituted after a closed-door meeting of all the legislators of the 12th NLA held under the chairmanship of Speaker Chotisuh Sazo in the Assembly Secretariat here today.
"The forum shall carry the voice of the House to all sections including the Government of India and the Naga national workers," the participants resolved at the joint meeting.
The NLF has reiterated its commitment to play the role of facilitators in the ongoing peace process and appeal to the negotiating parties to expedite the ongoing negotiation so as to bring about an amicable solution that is acceptable to the people.
Further, the House resolved to constitute Parliamentary Working Committee on Naga political issue consisting of all political parties.
The 60-member House of NLA comprises of NPF (38), BJP (4), Congress (8), one each JD(U) and NCP and 8 Independent MLAs.
