Mamit district deputy commissioner Vanlalngaihsaka told PTI over phone that the three day time frame ended today.
Meanwhile, additional home secretary Lalbiakzama said that the repatriation process as planned in Road Map-IV by Mizoram government and approved by Supreme Court would continue though refugees in Kaskau relief camp failed to turn up for identification.
"We will move on to other relief camps for identification and subsequent repatriation as planned because people in other camps might want to return to Mizoram," he said.
The Bru refugees of Mizoram have taken shelter in the Tripura relief camps since October 1997 and their organisations had made a number of demands before their repatriation, including increase of rehabilitation and resettlement package to Rs 1.5 lakh per family.
