RRPR is the largest promoter group company in New Delhi Television Ltd, the company that operates news channels NDTV 24x7, NDTV India and NDTV Profit.
The I-T department last month attached the entire 29.12 per cent holding of RRPR over a tax dispute.
"The company while exploring legal options available to it, believes that the action of the deputy commissioner of income tax was against principle of natural justice and there is no encumbrance of its shareholding in NDTV in any manner," RRPR said in a stock exchange filing.
RRPR said it was making disclosures as an abundant precaution.
