No rainfall in Bengal

In the absence of rainfall, the weather in large parts of West Bengal remained hot and sultry today.
According to the weather department, the maximum temperature in the capital city was registered at 33.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 26.2 degrees Celsius.
It said no rainfall was recorded in the city during the day while the two districts - West Midnapore and Hooghly - received 3 cm of precipitation each.
The Met office has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm for tomorrow.
