Not knowing Indian languages is sometimes a barrier: HM

Chidambaram said had he known three or four Indian (regional) languages, he would have been able to reach out to people in a better way about the performance of UPA-II.

On a lighter note, he told mediapersons at a press conference, that if they wished, they could pose questions to him in Hindi and Tamil too and he would try to reply to them.

While most of them interacted in English with the Home Minister, some of the queries in Hindi were answered by his colleague and Union Minister for Law and Justice, Salman Khurshid.
