"Our policy is clear that we will strengthen and expand existing relationships with all friendly nations on the basis of equality and mutual interests, and we will not compare relationships with neighbours," Oli said upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport from China today.
During his week-long visit, Nepal signed 10 separate agreements with China on using the northern neighbour's sea port facility, building a regional international airport in Pokhara and working out the possibilities of signing a bilateral free trade agreement and exploring the possibility of oil and gas reserves in Nepal among others.
The prime minister termed his week-long maiden visit to China as "successful".
He told journalists that many important deals were reached during the visit.
Oli said he was successful in pursuing China for a remarkable financial assistance to Nepal for various projects including on building Pokhara International Airport.
Prime Minister Oli had called on Chinese President Xi Jinping and held bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang at the Great Hall of the People.
Oli addressed the Boao Forum for Asia on the theme "Asia's New Future: New Dynamics, New Vision" at Boao, Hainan province of China.
