One arrested with illegally mined sand

One person has been arrested along with illegally mined sand in Surajpur area, police said today.
During checking of vehicles last night, head constable Sripal Singh intercepted on vehicle loaded with sand.
When he asked the driver to show the papers, he failed to do so, they said. It was illegally mined sand.
Following which the vehicle was seized and driver Shankar taken into custody, police said, adding he was booked under various sections of IPC and mining act.
