One killed, one hurt in blast

A man was killed and another injured in a blast that took place when they were allegedly preparing bombs near Corporation Road under Berhampur Town police station here, THE police said today.
The deceased was identified as Md Saraf Raj (21), an auto-rickshaw driver.
The injured person was admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here and his condition was stated to be serious, the sources said.
They were allegedly making bombs when the explosion took place last night.
Police detained three persons in this connection for questioning.
