Online application based army recruitment rally evokes good

The first online application based army recruitment rally which began on September 4 and will go on till September 13 has evoked good and encouraging response from candidates who have done well.
Colonel Avinash D Pitre, Returning Officer (Headquarters) Chennai said in a release today that "the response from candidates is much higher than the previous selection statistics and this goes to show that there is increased awareness among candidates".
Thanking the Puducherry District Administration for the logistic support for the programme Colonel Pitre said that candidates who had applied but were absent on the allotted date could still turn up on September 12 and 13 (last two days of the rally). Candidates who had not been able to apply could still do so till September 10.
