Organ donation: JIPMER to hold special event n

The Centrally run JIPMER here has scheduled to hold a special interactive session tomorrow to bring to focus the need, importance and concerns regarding organ donation with special emphasis on eye donation.
A release from JIPMER said that the programme being held to highlight the celebration of the 30th eye donation fortnight is also part of the Health Education Initiative of the premier institute.
The two hour long session was intended to generate awareness on health and also donation of organs particularly the eye.
Organ donation pledging facility is also available in the institute, the release said.
