As many as 122 children from Kota and Bundi districts, who had gone missing, have been rescued under an ongoing special drive, 'Operation Muskan- III', officials have said.
Many of these children have been reunited with their families under the month-long initiative, they said.
As many as 79 minors have been rescued in Kota, which included 42 children who were working as labourers, said in- charge of the anti-human trafficking cell in the district Dharmraj Singh Ranawat.
In Bundi, 43 children have been rescued, said in-charge of the district's anti-human trafficking cell Kaniz Fatima.
She said 11-year-old Pooja and her brother (8) were allegedly forced to work as bonded labourers for over a year by a woman identified as Suman Sharma (60).
The boy was rescued on July 22 from Ramganjbalaji after he managed to flee Sharma's home. Based on his information, officials of the anti-human trafficking cell rescued his sister and arrested the accused woman, Fatima said, adding the two siblings were reunited with their mother.
The accused was on Monday produced before a local court that sent her to judicial custody, she said.
'Operation Muskan-III' started on July 1 across Rajasthan to rescue children who had either gone missing or fled home.
