The drive was launched on November 13 with an eye on 2017 state polls.
"Due to dedication of workers and popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has enrolled one crore members since the membership campaign launched on November 13 last year," BJP state president Laxmi Kant Bajpai said.
He said the party has fixed a target of enrolling 1.5 crore members which, he hoped, would be achieved by March 31.
Bajpai said that to achieve the remaining target, a third phase would be launched between February 8 to February 11.
Bajpai said BJP Mahila Morcha (women wing) was observing the death anniversary of Vijayraje Scindia as maximum women membership day which would be a real tribute to the departed leader.
