over Rs eight lakh at gun-point from a man at Dakbunglow chhak near Kalinga Nagar industrial complex in Jajpur district, police said today.
Utsav Charan Sahu was attacked by the motorcycle borne miscreants when he was going to a bank to deposit Rs 8.08 lakh of his office yesterday.
The miscreants fled with the bag containing the cash when locals gathered on the spot hearing alerm from Sahu.
Sahu sustained head injuries and is curently undergoing treatment at a local government hospital.
