According to the complaint filed by deceased father Dharmendra Shah, incident occurred yesterday near petrol pump located at Tewatia Colony near Sector-3 Ballabgarh when the toddler was run over by an over-speeding car, they added.
The driver of the car was identified as Sanjiv, police said.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered with Police Station City Ballabgarh under section 279 and 304A of IPC. Police have started investigations in the case.
Investigation officer ASI Bhim Singh informed that the vehicle involved in the accident has been impounded by the police.
