The high-tech command and Control Centre to coordinate and monitor the various security measures set up at the shrine as part of the second phase of the comprehensive security scheme, being implemented in stages, would be inaugurated on February 11, police said in a statement here.
A total of 59 CCTV cameras, including 21 Pan Tilt Zoom,three IR Sky watch and Infra Red Cameras have been installed at different locations as part of the security arrangements,it said.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy would open the second phase of the security system, it said.
A range of articles including gold ornaments, idols engraved with precious stones, jewels, heaps of solid gold coins, silver and gold plates and lamps were discovered from the cellars of the temple managed earlier by the erstwhile Travancore Royal Family.
