The website, available at pmo.Gov.Pk, is an initiative of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to make his office more accessible and interactive.
The website was officially announced by Sharif during his address to the nation last week, when he also unveiled a number of schemes for youths. It became fully functional on Monday.
In four days since Monday, the website has got nearly five lakh hits.
"We were a bit apprehensive and wanted to wait for some more time but the Prime Minister was very keen. Since then we have received a record number of hits," an official in the Prime Minister's Office told PTI.
Over 1.5 lakh users have registered and the youth programme has received over 82,000 suggestions, the official said.
The website, like that of the Indian Prime Minister's Office, features photos, videos and messages of Sharif along with latest press releases.
"One can get everything that he wants to know about the Prime Minister, from his meetings with world leaders to his domestic interactions, on this website," the official said.
The website was made after studying the format in other countries.
Sharif is also on Twitter but his younger brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, is more active on the micro-blogging site.
