Led by Matin Bhosale, the families began walking from Mangrul Chawhala village in the district this morning.
"Our problems have been constantly neglected by the Maharashtra government. We want our farms to be regularised by the revenue department. We have a residential school, but permission is not being granted to advertise posts of teachers and employees," Bhosale told PTI here today.
Bhosale demanded a monthly allowance of Rs 15,000 to families of those who used to catch birds to meet both ends.
"Though we belong to the Pardhi community, we are not issued caste certificates. We want to bring all these things to the notice of the Governor and seek his intervention in the matter," Bhosale said.
