PDP President Mehbooba Mufti also hit out at the Centre and state government over the ceasefire violations and questioned the cancellation of talks with Pakistan over meeting between separatists and Paksitan envoy.
"It (RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks on all Indians being 'Hindus') is very unfortunate. The greatest loss to the state has been that a party like BJP which has a communal agenda (has become stronger here)... They are raising all such issues on which polarisation can take place," Mehbooba told reporters here.
The PDP leader said her party had a definite agenda and will not allow communal forces to "succeed" in their designs.
"The responsibility of making BJP stronger lies on National Conference and Congress... PDP has an agenda that it will take head-on on such communal forces who try to polarise the state and will not allow them to succeed," Mehbooba said.
"Both the state and Centre are responsible. They (NC-Congress alliance) are ruling the state for the last six years and had a government in Delhi for five years. What has NC-Congress government done with the political process started by (PDP patron) Mufti Mohammad Sayeed during UPA rule.
"Where are the Confidence Building Measures (CBM)? The CBMs are still there where we left. What happened to dialogue with separatists?" she asked and asserted that her party would not allow the state to become turf for war again.
