Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today alleged that the people of Delhi are "fed up" with the more than two-year-long rule of AAP and they want "azadi" from the party this Independence Day.
"It was Delhi's people who made AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal a hero through social media. But as the Delhi Chief Minister, when he failed to perform and repeatedly ditched people to meet his high aspirations, they are in a mood to teach him a lesson," she claimed in a statement here.
"Just see what is trending on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. On the occasion of Independence Day when people of the rest of the country are conveying best wishes on social media, the people of Delhi are wishing Azadi from the outrageous AAP government," Harsimrat alleged.
Describing Kejriwal's "ambition" to form government in Punjab a "joke", the Union Food Processing Minister said, "Despite having a clear mandate, AAP failed to perform in Delhi. To camouflage their failures, Kejriwal and his party leaders are continuously running from one state to another."
"Kejriwal has become a synonym of conflict and people of no state would like to have a government which will do nothing except raising conflicts with the Centre," she claimed.
"Where are those cameras you were supposed to install? Where are those schools and hospitals every mohalla of Delhi supposed to have? Where can one find the Wifi signal provided by you? What happened to Jan Lokpal and where is you Sawraj?" she asked.
