Personal utility vehicle Multix launched in east

Eicher Polaris, a 50:50 joint venture between Eicher Motors Ltd and Polaris Industries Inc, today announced the launch of country's first personal utility vehicle Multix in eastern market.
"We have already launched the product in a limited way in south, west and north India. We'll ramp up dealership gradually across the country," Eicher Polaris CEO Pankaj Dubey said here today.
This is a concept and new category vehicle had been specially designed for independent businessmen population of 5.8 crore in India, he said.
Dubey declined to give any projections and performance of sales so far.
Multix will have exclusive dealership without leveraging network of the JV companies.

Already, five dealerships are under construction in Bengal out of 70 across the nation. The number would be doubled shortly, the company said.
Multix offers with first-of-its-kind independent suspension system for all the four wheels, it also offers exciting feature power-take-off feature which can generate power up to 3 KW.
