Petrol pump owner shot dead

A petrol pump owner was shot dead allegedly by two unidentified assailants in Kadipur area here, police said today.
The incident took place in Mangrava locality last night when two bike-borne miscreants reached the petrol pump and allegedly opened fire after altercation with petrol pump workers.
Ratenesh Kumar Singh (40), owner of the petrol pump, was killed on the spot while his brother Sarvendra got injured.
No arrests have been made so far, police said, adding, a probe into the matter is on.
