Photography of prominent areas of Gurugram done: Haryana govt

Ahead of the mega inaugural function planned for the state's 'Swarna Jayanti' (golden jubilee) celebrations on November 1, the Haryana government today said it has got the photography of prominent areas of Gurugram done through drone-mapping to review the arrangements and security measures.
Stating this, a spokesman of the Gurugram district administration said drones were also being used to identify the roads which required repair.
Besides, paintings, sermons from the Bhagavad Gita and pictures of patriots were being painted along the VIP routes and at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the inaugural function of the 'Swarna Jayanti' celebrations.

The spokesman said drone-mapping was being done with the assistance of Haryana Space Application Centre (HARSAC) and Science and Technology Park.
Trees at IFFCO Chowk were being decorated with LED lights and both sides of the roads from Signature Tower to HUDA City Centre and from Subhash Chowk to Bakhtawar Chowk and at Rajiv Chowk were also being adorned with colourful lights, he added.
