The 74-year-old musician will open the festival in the British capital's Hyde Park on July 6 next year, reported DigitalSpy.
Besides Hyde Park, Waters will also bring his Us + Them tour to Europe, which marks his first trek in the continent since The Wall Live (2010-13).
The tour will showcase highlights from Waters' discography, including a number of tracks from Pink Floyd's iconic albums including 'Wish You Were Here', 'The Wall', 'Animals' and 'Dark Side of The Moon'.
This year BTS fest was headlined by artistes such as Phil Collins, Green Day, Justin Bieber, Kings of Leon and The Killers.
