Police, who are investigating the recent murder of Tamil Nadu BJP General Secretary 'Auditor' Ramesh in Salem, interrogated Kichan Bukari, an accused in the April 17 blasts near BJP office in Bangalore, suspecting his hand in the murder.
Based on the reported confession made by Bukari that he has handed over a pistol to the youth Mohammed Nazar, police arrested him from Arul Nagar in Ukkadam in the city, police said.
On the information provided by Nazar, police recovered the pistol and 53 bullets, hidden out of fear in the drain, they said.
