Pistols seized by police in Mathura

Police have seized two country-made pistols from the forest area of Farah police station here following interrogation of undertrial Rakesh Chaudhary who is allegedly involved in the killing of another undertrial Rajesh Tota.
Deputy SP Priti Priyadarshi said that during interrogation Chaudhary confessed that he wanted to kill Tota while he was being taken to Hathras court but due to police security he couldn't kill him.
"Rakesh Chaudhary has confessed that he wanted to kill Rajesh Tota earlier when he was being taken to Hathras court but owing to heavy police security he couldn't kill him," she said.
"He narrated the entire incident of eliminating Tota," she added.
Police interrogated Chaudhary after he was taken on judicial remand from the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 4th Mathura.
The Magistrate had sent Chaudhary on remand for ten hours against police request of three days.
A member of Brajesh Mavi gang, Chaudhary with the help of his associates shot dead Rajesh Tota near Dwapar resort on the midnight of January 17 when he was being taken to S N Medical College Agra for better treatment, under police escort.
Earlier on the same day Tota was injured inside Mathura Jail following his gang war with associates of Brajesh Mavi gang.
Chaudhary said he took the revenge of the murder of his gang leader Brajesh Mavi who was killed allegedly by Rajesh Tota on September 10, 2014 in Hathras.
