PM pays tributes to Bhagat Singh
Press Trust of India New Delhi Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his 107th birth anniversary, saying his undying patriotism continues to inspire people.
"On his birth anniversary, I bow to the proud son of India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh. His undying patriotism and courage continue to inspire," the Prime Minister said in a message.
The revolutionary freedom fighter was hanged at a Lahore jail along with Shivaram Hari Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar on March 23, 1931.
