"During the meeting, NITI Aayog will make a presentation to the Prime Minister on the progress made so far on the vision document," a senior official said.
Modi, the Chairman of NITI Aayog, will also take stock of the economy and progress over various government programmes which are monitored by the official think tank.
The meeting will be attended by NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Arvind Panagariya and other members.
Besides, the task force on poverty alleviation will submit its report, and so will the task force on 'future development of agriculture'.
The official said tomorrow's meet is also a prelude to meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council expected shortly to deliberate on the vision document.
The Governing Council headed by the Prime Minister comprises all chief ministers and ex-officio members who include home, finance, railway and agriculture ministers.
The policy-making body has been mandated to come up with a 15-year vision document for a period up to 2030, which will be co-terminus with sustainable development goals.
The NITI Aayog is also working on a 7-year strategy starting from 2017-18 to 2023-24 to convert a vision document into implementable policy and action as part of the National Development Agenda.
The action plan is important because 2016-17 is the terminal year of the 12th Five-Year Plan.
